A permit Requires renewal once its renewal time has elapsed.

Permit requestor

The permit requestor may choose to Renew the permit provided it hasn't surpassed its maximum number of allowed renewals (if max renewals is specified). When a permit is renewed the user is prompted to select a new start time for the permit. Once confirmed, the permit goes back to the Pending category signoff stage and the permit lifecycle starts again.

Alternatively they may choose to Close out the permit at this stage. If any close-out categories exist the permit will become Pending close off, otherwise it will be Completed.
